VIII Baltic School Chess Festival was held in 5 star Radisson Blu Daugava Hotel, 24 Kugu street, Riga, Latvia, from August 27 (day of  arrival) until September 1 (day of departure) 2012.

* Fund of individual board prizes was provided by Woman International Master Viktorija Ni (USA Chess Federation) - 800 USD.

* August 30th, 2012, 6.00 pm – International Blitz Tournament (11 rounds, Swiss system, FIDE blitz chess rating calculation. Time control 3 min + 2 sec/move.
